Caroline Cassese

Caroline (Barnard ‘22) is majoring in Environmental Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Originally from Rhode Island, Caroline loves everything ocean-related and is passionate about environmental education. In her free time, she enjoys exploring NYC, going on runs, and playing with her dog.

Emma Ziessler

Emma (Barnard ‘24) loves learning more about our beautiful planet each day and how she can help keep it beautiful! You'll often find her out in nature hiking, biking, or taking her dog on a walk.

Annie Y.

Annie (Barnard ‘24) is planning on majoring in Env. Sci. and Economics. She is passionate about eliminating pollutants from natural environments, as well as how environmental policy and allocations of funding impact these endeavors. She enjoys long walks and photographing the various little creatures she encounters along the way.

Lily Davenport

Lily (Barnard ‘24) is majoring in Environmental Biology and minoring in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is interested in wildlife management and conservation as well as science communication. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and picnicking with her friends.

Cate Humphries

Cate (Barnard '24) is majoring in Environmental Science. She loves learning about the environment and particularly enjoys learning about past climate and geological conditions. She spends her time running in Riverside Park and making friends with dogs.

Maggie Calcio

Maggie Calcio (Barnard College ’20) developed a coral oxygen isotope-derived record of hydroclimate from the Gulf of Chiriquí, Panama. She majored in Environmental Science and minored in Chemistry, focusing on geochemistry and field methods. Maggie is currently a High School Chemistry Teacher (2022).

Eleanor Ludkey

Eleanor received her undergraduate degree in Hydrology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2017. She currently works as the program manager for the Environmental Science department at Barnard College and is pursuing a masters degree online in Geographic Information Systems and Cartography from the University of Arizona. Eleanor now works at PwC (2022).
