Our Mission Statement

Our lab is committed to understanding and protecting the environment on local to global scales through the study of past and present climate, mainly via coral-based climate proxies. We are committed to interdisciplinary systems thinking and we follow the arc of our science from conception through a broad range of outreach. Our lab trains future scientists and the next generation of scientifically-minded critical and creative thinkers. Together we will create a lab environment that encourages learning and exploration.
